As an employee in a Teamsters Local Union No. 727 collective bargaining unit of a contributing employer, you become eligible for benefits on the first day of the third month following the month in which you begin covered employment. For example, if you begin covered employment in January, you become eligible for benefits on April 1, the first day of covered employment.

If you are a Movie Tradeshow Division Participant, you may become eligible if your employer makes contributions to the Fund on your behalf for working at least either (i) 130 hours in a one-month or consecutive two-month look-back period or 1,000 hours in the immediately preceding 12-month look-back period. Your coverage will begin with the second month following the end of the applicable look-back period.
