What are the eligibility requirements and the earliest age I can receive a pension?

If you have earned 5 years of vesting service after March 1, 1998 and are 65 years old, you are eligible to receive a vested pension. Prior to 1998, you must have earned 10 years of vesting service.

If you have 15 pension credits and are over the age of 55, you are eligible to receive a vested pension.

If you have 30 or more pension credits, you are eligible to receive a pension at any age.

If you have reached age 65 and have 15 or more pension credits, you are eligible to receive a regular pension.

If you have reached age 55 while in covered employment and have earned 15 pension credits, you are eligible to receive an early retirement pension.
