What are the eligibility requirements to receive a pension?

If you have earned 5 years of vesting service after January 1, 1999 and are 58 years old, you are eligible to receive a vested pension. Prior to 1999, you must have earned 10 years of vesting service. If you are actively employed in covered employment and have earned at least 30 pension credits, you are eligible to receive an early retirement pension at any age. If you have attained age 58 while in covered employment, you can retire with a Normal Pension.
